this broadcast is real time captioned (pvaçby carrie o'brie a deadly plane crash tonight. authorities in whatsonville are trying to further out why a plane went down next to the commune hospital. the single engine plane had just taken off from a nearby airport when it went down about 7:30 this evening. witnesses are saying that the monday dove downward and slammed into a medical office building. two people onboard were killed. their names were not released tonight. no one on the ground was injured. a follow-up to a story that we shows you earlier tonight. we showed you this youtube

here's what is making headlines across the nation tonight. in grand rapids, michigan, a man suspected of a shooting rampage and standoff 2wkilled himself. a manhunt started this evening after seven people were killed. this lead to a high-speed chase with shots fired. two bystanders were hit. the chase ended apartment. he let one hostage go and turned the gun on himself. in florida, casey anthony will be released from prison on july the 17th. the mother acquitted this week

in the death of her 2-year-old daughter was sentenced to four years in prison for lying to investigators. casey anthony has served three years. in orlando today, supporters of caylee anthony gathered f÷kfat casey anthony's home. police are keeping them at a distance. tonight, a few of them are saying that they saw a sign from god. lightning struck a tree. and 16 states saw their adult obesity increase. mississippi is the mauve overweight. with more of a third of the population over weight and colorado is the heaviest and california is the 12th. cooler weather out there today will continue into the weekend and next week, actually, details on that. >> so, ah, your seat good?

a live look outside from the golden gate bridge. once again it is hard to see anything with the thick fog over the bridge. fog is going to be an issue tomorrow morning and get more dense through the week. your weekend at a glimpse starting tomorrow with fog and into the afternoon warm in quite a few places. temperatures will start to slide more into saturday and sunday. the fog starts to really takeover. the temperatures in the lower 80s. let's get a look at the fog for tomorrow morning. becoming more extensive into the delta, the shore and the valley and the peninsula. later on in the morning will reach the peak and start to push back. back to the coastline by the later morning hours into the afternoon. the coastline is starting to clear out.

the manager of the as -- in excellent -- oakland passed away. williams passed at the age of 82. inducted into the hall of fame in 2008. great story. how williams took over the as. won back-to-back championship. then got into a feud with finley and was not around for the repeat. williams will always go down in history as the man who gave oakland their first two world championships. barry zito for the third straight game very good. another sellout. the giants are 41-41 in sell outs. zito getting help early. if he is successful, you better play good defense. rowan making the catch at the
